The curriculum at Advantage Preschool is aligned to Montana early learning standards with a whole child approach to foster your child’s development and learning in the areas of social emotional, physical, literacy, math, science, and art in an environment where learning is differentiated to meet your child’s needs.
Social emotional learning and physical development includes cooperative play designed to nurture your child’s social development and to help your child build the skills needed for successful group interactions in the educational setting.
The literacy curriculum focuses on language and vocabulary development, phonological awareness, knowledge of the alphabet, concepts of print, and emergent writing skills as well as incorporating components of basic American Sign Language.
The math curriculum is designed to foster skills in problem solving, reasoning, making connections and representations.
Science lessons are designed to build your child’s confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills with a hands-on project learning approach.
Art projects are designed to foster creativity, self-expression, cognitive and small motor skills to encourage making choices, experimenting, and critical thinking.
